anybody using Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2100?

Hi Folks
If *anyone* is using MythTV with a Scientific Atlanta 2100 cable tuner
(NYC Time-Warner Digital Cable for example) - please let me know how
you change channels from MythTV. I'm completely stuck here, having
built a working IR transmitter (simple circuit from the lirc website).
The lirc config for the Scientific Atlanta 2000 doesn't seem to be
working. But I can use my IR transmitter with lirc's irsend command
to control my Sony TV all day long.
