Off topic for this thread, but I just wanted to extend a heart-felt THANK YOU to all the developers who have worked over the years to make the internal player what it is. Time was I had MPlayer and Xine installed in order to play all the myriad videos... DVDs, VCDs, SVCDs, plus various video file formats. When I finally upgraded my distro a few months ago I ignored Xine entirely and even forgot to install MPlayer for a while. It wasn't until I tried to play some random file from the command prompt that I discovered it was missing. Anyway, thanks! Now back to your regularly-scheduled ranting and raving :D aaron _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users [at] mythtv http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
