Mythweather Hangs

I didn't see any postings to this effect since .12, which is what I am
using (apt packages for Red Hat 9.0) on my dual PIII 1Ghz. It works
fine 80+% of the time, but occasionally, it will hang and I have to open
up a term window and kill mythfrontend. There are no interesting
messages in /var/log/messages. I have tried launching the frontend from
the command line with the verbose option, but of course I haven't had
the error. Hmm. Maybe I should always launch it that way :)

BTW, I love myth and picked up an xbox last night which I plan to mod
this week for my frontend living room appliance. I should probably
write Bill a thank you note for helping me purchase it by subsidizing
the price. What do you think? :)

Regards,

Matt

RE: Mythweather Hangs [In reply to]

I have had a similar problem with MythWeather. It happens when I leave it on
MythWeather for more than a few minutes. Never freezes instantly but if left
cycling through the screens, when I come back it's frozen and I have to kill
it manually. Not a big deal, I just don't ever leave it on mythweather. But
it is strange...

Generate a bt if you could, that would help to track it down.
