No sound for recording but Live TV has sound

Hi
How can I troubleshoot this?
My machine suffered a physical breakdown and now that I fixed it and
upgraded it, I have audio problems.
I have Fedora 11 with Mythtv 0.22
The thing is that Live TV has sound, old recordings playback with sound ok,
but new recordings do not have sound.
What can I check/review to try and fix it?
Obviously, the hardware is ok, I think it must be a pulseaudio alsa stuff.
