Remote frontend not displaying coverart, fanart, etc...

Hi,

I have a frontend/backend combo machine which displays coverart, fanart,
etc... correctly in mythvideo and the recordings screen.
However when using my mac remote frontend machine none of the images are
displayed.

Checking the frontend logs I get many error lines such as...

Error loading image to scale, from file: myth://
Coverart [at] 192:6543/American Chopper Season 6_coverart.jpg

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Thanks,
Ash

Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is convert all of your .jpg's
to .png's. With Qt4, jpeg support became a plugin; the mac frontend
does not include that plugin.

Thanks for the answer. So is that just something that the myth dev's haven't
coded for yet? or is it a limitation on the osx packager script? or is it
that trolltech don't include the jpeg plugin on the mac?

I'm assuming there's not a trivial fix to resolve it?

Ash

Don't know. My best guess would be an issue with osxpackager.pl.
It's purely an OS X frontend issue.

Again, I don't know. I suppose at some level of knowledge/familiarity
with the code it is trivial...
