Hi all, This is a follow-on from my previous post re poor playback performance of a H264 720p video clip. In my configuration, I have three profiles if res = 1920 x 1080, then vdpau with temporal 2x (fallback to advanced 1x) if res is 1280x720, then no de-interlacing if res < 1280x720, then advanced 2x fallback to (can't remember) Do I need to specifically call out the 1280x720 resolution because I know it is progressive and does not need de-interlacing? Is mythtv clever enough to detect a non-interlaced video stream so as not to turn on the de-interlacers? If I attempt to de-interlace a non-interlaced video clip, does it actually attempt to do so? Many thanks Phil _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users [at] mythtv http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
