another firewire failed recording, large PATs?

Ok, no sooner do I post that firewire seems to be stable than I get
another failed recording.
Here's the backend log for the time the recording should have been happening:

Does anyone know what "Can't handle large PAT's" means? I don't
recall seeing that with .21.
The effect of this was that no recording file existed on disk but
there was a stub recording in the list of recorded programs.
Attempting to play and then delete this recording results in:

It's odd that the "Can't handle large PAT's" happens near the end time
of the recording, but it never got so far as even opening a file for
it.
If I go into LiveTV and try to tune to the same channel, it comes
right up. (Of course, I didn't try this until after the recording
should have ended.)
