Delete Recordings screen

You mean the delete screen? Yes, there's a bug report that suggests its disappearance was a design choice:

Ah, and reading further, there's a custom work-around available.

Hit the I on your keyboard, or the information button on your remote.. there
is the ability to delete
the recording there.. the reason for the change as I understand it is to
have the ability to have
things placed in many different locations in a theme, so the right and left
keys would need to
be available for that. someone can correct me on this if I am wrong.. :D

Well my confusion was based on there being a menu item named "delete
recordings" but when you enter that menu you wind up in "watch
recordings"

Makes sense to just have 1 recordings menu - how would I remove the
now useless delete menu? It's just taking up space now
