how do I download fanart for TV recordings?

how do I download fanart for TV recordings?

is it possible to use Jamu or the download meta-data for my TV recordings too?

Note if I happen to have a video the same name as a TV recording the fanart displays on my
Watch Recordings Page but there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to scan my Recordings
for Poster/FanArt etc...

You need to do a run with the -W option:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Jamu#Scheduled_and_Recorded. I recommend
you read the rest of the Jamu wiki article as well.

Two ways:

1 - Select the recording in "Watch Recordings" and type "W", that will
attempt to download fanart etc.

2 - Run jamu with the "-W" option, e.g. "jamu.py -MWV". That will attempt
to downlaod fanart for all recordings.

Quick question: is Graphite the only theme that supports fanart for the
recordings? I used jamu to download stuff for my recordings and Terra
does not show anything.

A one-line change to the popular but unofficial Blue Abstract theme
will give you fanart.

I also found it necessary to add an alpha value of say 120 to
buttonlist_inactive.png and buttonlist_inactive_very_wide.png in
base.xml so that the buttons don't completely obscure the fanart.

quickly opens up a terminal and changes base.xml :) Thanks for the
reminder been meaning to do this.

Hopefully I am not threadjacking here, but I I am also having trouble
figuring out how to use JAMU to get fanart for my recordings.

I copied the jamu example config file into /home/mythtv/.mythtv and
created what I thought were the appropriate directories to download
the art.

I get the following output when I try to run the script:
[mythtv [at] localhos .mythtv]$ /usr/share/mythtv/mythvideo/scripts/jamu.py -W

! Warning - The module xml (v41660 or greater) must be installed. Your
version is different (v0.8.4) than what Jamu was tested with. Jamu may
not work on your installation.
It is recommended that you upgrade.

! Error: At least a video directory, SID or season name must be supplied

I am guessing that I am missing something obvious, but not sure what.
I went through the wiki and the config file. Is it possible for JAMU
to go through my database, find all my recordings and pull the correct
art for that or am I misunderstanding how it works?
