Channel OneHD (Sydney, Australia) SD version?

Channel OneHD (Sydney, Australia) SD version?

Hi all Aussies

OneHD has finally appeared in my region (71 Wollongong, NSW) and while
Myth can tune to it and record, I am not really setup to handle HD. The
files are huge (as is expected in HD) and Myth canąt play them (screen goes
blank) [yet xbmc can!]

According to the 10 website, if I have SD I could tune to łchannel 12˛ to
receive the HD -> SD simulcast. The channel show up in a dvb-utils scan as
serviceid 2089 and I was wondering if anyone here has the SD serviceid so I
can try that out and see if it works. I cannot find this info anywhere on
the web.

Any other tips on using this channel would be greatly appreciated.

i know me-tv can view OneHD on a 1.6Ghz processor

or you can record the show and transcode it down SD

Just rescan your channels, One will show up automatically

Wish I could figure out how to get Myth to play it, I am on an Athlon
2600...

This will be the way I have to go me thinks, just researching what I need to
do the transcoding. Never done any custom stuff before as I have never had
anything HD!

After an afternoon on Google I have found that One SD is only available in
the cities. I tried scanning Sydney_North_Shore but 10's signal isn't strong
enough (even though I am in Riverstone). Southern Cross 10 is my only option
and they are only broadcasting One HD:

SC10
