My NEW tuner problem

Ok guys, i have yet another problem with my tuner. Now wheneverver i
attempt to watch tv with mythtv my system locks up in a black screen. Also
whenevry i try to watch tv with an external tuner my i get a message that
/dev/video0 can't be accessed because it's non existant, but when i got to
my /dev directory video0 is there, can anyone help me fix this?

What kind of tuner card do you have, analog (V4L/bttv) or hardware-encoder
(PVR-x50/ivtv)? In either case, make sure your drivers have properly
loaded. Is it possible that /dev/video0 is not the correct device for you?
Some systems default to /dev/v4l/video0. That's about it... either your
driver isn't loaded properly, or you're trying to use the wrong device file.
