Skipping directories when scanning for new videos

I've done some searching but haven't found any way to tell MythTV to
skip some directories while scanning new videos with Video Manager. I
have several sub-directories under my video directory which I never want
to get added to the DB (they will never have metadata added). However, I
don't want to move them out since I want them to remain available when
in list view.
Is this currently possible? I run SVN so if it has been a recent feature
add, that is fine.
