Cut point markers are offset from the position bar

Hi All,

When editing the cut list, the cut point markers (the sideways T's) are shifted too far to the left, in some cases the first cut-point marker is not even on the position bar, but floating off somewhere by itself.

So far the red and green sections are correct, but regardless of the OSD, the cut point markers are waaaaaay off.

Has anyone else seen this? I can't remember when this first occurred, since it has been many months since I have needed to use cut points.

My setup is: MythTV v0.20.2, FC6 x86_64, Hauppage PVR 350, and ivtv 1.0.3, and has not been updated since FC6 went end of life.

Thanks,

Beny

Yes, I'd noticed this as well. It's been like that for as long as I've
used cutpoints (~1year?) I'd just put it down to one of the little
quirks of MythTV that doesn't seem to matter too much as the devs are
working on more important/interesting stuff. After all, it still cuts
the video in the right place :-)

I think in most (if not all) current cases, it's actually just a broken
OSD theme. Yeah, I saw where the OP said he tried all possible OSD
themes in existence...

Then again, I don't remember if the
offset-because-MythTV-is-not-run-fullscreen issue was ever fixed or if
it's not being fixed because mythui will completely replace the code.
"Not-run-fullscreen" means run with offsets or width/height or (in
MythTV) overscan.

I've noticed this when using an aspect-ratio zoom mode - do the cut points
get closer or further away if you cycle through the aspect-ratios?

Beny,

This one's been reported here (IIRC, there are one or two older bugs
that are similar, too)
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/4038

Cheers,
Jesse Burt

I saw this during the five minutes I tried XvMc,
hoping to resolve some video issues. Didn't fix the
problem and this and other side effects were so
hateful, I disabled XvMc and solved the video stutter
another way...
