pvr150 recordings won't play after h264 video fails to play...

Occasionally a h264 video will fail to play. If I try to play it
again it will but any mpeg2 recordings from my pvr150s won't play
until I restart mythfrontend, but recordings off my hdhomerun continue
to play normally as does everything in mythvideo except recordings
that originally came from the pvr150s but have not been transcoded.
This issue affects both my gentoo amd64 system and my macbook
frontend. I encountered this issue on both trunk r16572 and .21-fixes
r17365.
Once a h264 video has failed to play, all other h264 videos play
perfectly.
Anyone have any ideas?
