PreScaling Image Percent Bar Stuck at 99 % after install plugins.

Hello All,

i need some advice. After harddisc crash, i reinstall the whole machine and
mythfrontend worked
fine, until i install the mythplugins-checkout. Any plugin prevents
mythfrontend from complete the
scaling mechanism (it seems). The image prescaling requester stuck at 99 %
and nothing happens.

Now i want to kick away the plugins one after the other to check which one
will make thouse
trouble, but i got no idea, how i can clean my system from the plugins?

Its on the latest svn (17297)... A tip would be nice...

Thanks in advance,
Andreas

As answered twice in IRC :)

a) if you installed packages, uninstall the package (if you need
helping uninstalling the package, please tell us what distro you're using)
b) if you installed from source, "make uninstall" will uninstall all
the plugins
c) if you installed from source, you can remove the
libmyth<plugin_name>.so shared object from the
/usr/{,local/}lib/mythtv/plugins directory to uninstall a single plugin

I don't remember which plugin was typically causing this problem
(MythZoneMinder or MythBrowser, maybe), but I know others had it, too.
You might find out from searching the archives.

Argh, really you answered in irc? Im so sorry. Not realized it. I think
the test with miranda in irc isnt really good. Sorry for ignoring.

Tip C is it. I searched the archives for that for hours and could'nt
find a real help like this, maybe im bad in searching. I also remember
there was such a "bad" plugin. I think it was ZoneMinder? I will try.

Mythtv here runs on gentoo and i checkout the files and compile "by hand".

Thank you for your help and sorry again for ignoring you in irc. :)

Andreas

No problem. I just thought it was funny to see the same question (and a
recognizable nick->email address mapping). It's easy to miss stuff in
IRC--especially when the answer isn't immediate. At least you got the
benefit of my initial answer and Stuart Morgan's additions all rolled
into a single answer (and, only a couple days delayed).

And, now it's in the list archive for the next person to find. :)
