mythbrowser exit back to mythnews

Having a minor problem with 0.21 mythbrowser/mythnews.
Everything works, but when I hit the back button on my remote (bound to Esc)
it exits out of mythnews as well as the browser. It doesn't do it every
time, but it does do it most of the time.
It does not do this if I press Esc on the keyboard, only when using the
remote.
I added repeat=0 to the button in .lircrc but it had no effect.
