change channel before firewire record

I am having a problem with the transcoder where it errors out while
downconverting an HD to a lower SD format. Essentially, firewire starts
recording on an SD channel, then it changes to the appropriate HD channel.
Now the file has both SD and HD formats in it, causing the transcoder to
error out. I do not use a channel changer script. I have a SA 4250.

Essentially I get a segfault.

# mythtranscode -i 2713_20080105043000.mpg -o myfile.mpg

Segmentation fault

This is mythtv-0.20.2-169.fc6 (MythDora 4).

The workaround has been to view the file on my notebrick and edit out the
first few seconds, then resubmit the transcode job.

I found this thread, but no solution

I'm not sure what MythDora 4 is in relation to svn revision, but I fixed
a similar problem (where my cable company decided to insert 544x480
commercials in 720p content) last year some time. It went into
0.20-fixes in Sept 2007. If it doesn't, maybe I can take a look at it
again.

If this helps, I am showing build date of Tue Nov 20 21:51:59 2007 from
atrpms.net and "- Update to latest svn fixes (14921)."
