Update MythVideo from command line?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

So, I use MythVideo a fair amount. At the moment, MythVideo on the
frontends just scans the filesystem and loads the info into the
database. However, it does take at least a few seconds to load,
sometimes up to 10-20 seconds.
I did use the database method for a while, but it got cumbersome to run
to my TV, hope no-one is using the frontend, open the video browser and
tell it to update.

What I want to be able to do, is copy in a bunch of video files, and
then from a command line, update the database. Is this possible?

Yes,

http://www.4shared.com/file/23145905/548ed5c2/imdbupdatertar.html

is the imdbupdater tool, which can be run from cli.
Be sure to read the readme, it might do some things you don't expect it
to do.

Regards,

Jos
