Transcoding Artifacts

Hi,

I'm a bit of a Myth-newbie, but I'm running svn revision 14267 and
having some mpeg compression style artifacts after transcoding to
MPEG4 (blips on the audio and random sections of the video
corrupting, like when your digital signal is not so good on Live TV).

When watching live tv or watching a recording without transcoding, it
looks fine.

Any ideas on how to debug/fix this?

Cheers,
Dan

Use a higher bitrate or better bitrate distribution for VBR (i.e. make
sure you always use a 2-pass encoding)
