Biting the bullet and recreating my capture cards from scratch in cas ethat had something to do with my previously reported sporadic problems, I ran into this very same problem. I thought it was me! But, I too found that if I manually entered the frequencies used for ATSC using the transport editor and then doing a rescan of just previously defined transports, the mux data was decoded reliably. Incidentally, if you do a dmesg out in a shell, you'll see a bunch of invalid modulation method error messages being logged by the system. Anyway, I grabbed the dvb-atsc-tools-1.0.6 source code from the downloads section of the pcHDTV support site and found that its "dtvscan" program worked flawlessly. Although the channels.conf file format can't be parsed correctly by myth, the second field in that file it creates is the frequency value in Hertz that you can then enter into the myth transport editor. Convoluted and complicated, yes, but it seems to work. -- 73 Chris Cox, N0UK email: chrisc[at]chris.org or chrisc[at]BritishCarAndDriver.Com or chris[at]SotaMINIs.Com Home Page: http://WWW.BritishCarAndDriver.Com http://www.pingjockey.net Don't Believe Everything You Think. _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users[at]mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
