pvr 250 help needed.

I'm trying to setup a pvr 250 card but all I get is static. I got a
compiler warning that I would probably have to re-extract the firmware
but the driver built and installed fine. I'v tried re-extracting and
rebuilding the driver but I still get the same problems. I've also
tried to change the cannel using ptune. Any idea's or pointers would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

-Chuck

I didn't get any error messages when I insmoded the modules. I am able
to run ptune and it reports that the channel was changed, it just
doesn't seem to have any effect.

Have you tried adjusting your antenna? Another possibility: Is the
computer plugged in?

Chuck,

insmoding all the drivers worked cleanly?

ptune didn't work for me "out of the box" either. I had to install the
following Perl piece:

# perl -MCPAN -e shell

Once I did that, ptune worked perfectly. See if that helps.
