multiple bttv cards, setting configs

Would anyone know how to specify which card the settings on modprobe
are for?

Basically I have two bttv-based cards, one autodetects correctly, the
other doesn't. I need to set the module settings for card one to
card=78 tuner=2 radio=1 gbuffers=32, but leave the other as is. Any
idea how to do that?

I believe you'll have to specify card and tuner for both cards. Set
your parameters for each car, separated by a comma. So if the first
card was type 78 and tuner 2 and the second card was type 64 and tuner 5
you would use

card=78,64 tuner=2,5

I _think_ you can set up an alias for this in modules.conf.. Something
like (I'm sure this won't work direct, but you could try it):

alias bttv1 bttv
alias bttv2 bttv

options bttv1 card=78 tuner=2 radio=1 gbuffers=32
options bttv2 <options for other card>
