Using mythbackend with a virtual tuner but without a soundcard
|
|
Hi, I'm trying to setup a new sandbox machine. This machine will be as similar as possible to the production server, so I've setup a virtual tuner (http://v4l2vd.sourceforge.net/). Now the only problem is that mythbackend refuse to record any program because it can't find any audio device (in this machine there's no soundcard). I've tried with "/dev/null" as a device, but it doesn't work: Here is the log: NVR: Error, unknown audio codec 2007-01-05 03:19:26.732 NVR: AudioInit(): /dev/null : error setting audio input device to 44100kHz/16bits/2channel 2007-01-05 03:19:26.733 NVR: Could not detect audio blocksize 2007-01-05 03:19:26.830 MainServer::HandleAnnounce Playback 2007-01-05 03:19:26.833 adding: TEST1 as a client (events: 0) 2007-01-05 03:19:26.836 MainServer::HandleAnnounce FileTransfer 2007-01-05 03:19:26.837 adding: TEST1 as a remote file transfer VIDIOCGCHAN: Invalid argument VIDIOCGMBUF:: Unknown error 515 2007-01-05 03:19:26.854 NVR: /dev/null: error setting audio input device to 44100 kHz/16 bits/2 channel Is there a way to ignore the audio?
