Another Input Connections problem

Hello all,

I have two problems for which I can't find answers. The first is the
location of my tv tuner. I assume it's /dev/video (which appears to be
a symlink to /dev/video0). How can I confirm this? If I try to run
mythbackend, it claims there is no device there (same for 0 through 3).
I'm hoping problem #2 fixes this one, though.

Problem #2 is with setup. I run ./setup and get the gui interface, I
proceed through the steps in order. When I get to step 4, Input
Connections, the screen is blank with no options for adding a
connection. I've searched the archive and only found one answer to
this problem, which didn't seem to fix it on my setup (which was that
my database was out of sync from using CVS, basically).

I'm using Slackware 9 and an ATI All-In-Wonder 7500. I can watch TV
fine with xawtv or qtvision. Also, mythfilldatabase seems to work
fine. I'm using the standard stable download of mythtv (0.8) and am
not upgrading.

Any ideas? Oh, I haven't set up the remote, but can't imagine that's
the problem.

Thanks in advance,

Ron

The AIW card will not work with mythtv, due to its drivers. There's more
complete answers in the mailing list archives =)
