MSI TV@nywhere

Has anyone tried/used the MSI TV[at]nywhere card with Myth?

http://www.msicomputer.com/product/detail_spec/product_detail.asp?model=TV[at]nywhere&search_text=

According to the site, it uses a "Conexant CX881 video / audio decoder."
Is this supported with Linux/Myth? It seems to be a pretty decent
package that even includes a fairly functional remote. And the price
seems right at newegg...

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: MSI TV@nywhere [In reply to]

Yeah, I actually looked at getting this card (was $100 Canadian, and it came
with a remote...)

After some research, I found out there isn't a Video4Linux driver for it.
The tuner chipset isn't supported in Linux yet (it's quite new).

(I ended up going with an ATi Wonder-VE because of this.)

I think someone has to write a driver for this puppy quite soon though,
because the cost of this new Conexant chip is considerable lower than that
of the previous models of chips, so it is likely that many cheaper tv-tuners
will start to appear with this chip.
