mytharchive and chmod

I'm trying to archive some programs to native archive so I can roll
back my database to a back up from a few days ago, and then reload the
programs... when I try to run the native archive to a file.. the
process log fills up with chmod command failures because of
permissions thank goodness, but why is mytharchive trying to chmod all
the files in my home directory?

oh and I don't ever get a native archive.

It's already been fixed in both svn truck and the 0.20-fixes branch so
you could update to one of those if you compile from source. If you
don't want to compile your own stuff then you can continue to use the
current release until 0.20.1 or what ever it's going to be called is
released just don't use the save to file option. If you choose one of
the DVD formats and uncheck the burn to DVD option then the archive will
be created in the work directory you told MythArchive to use. You _will_
then have to copy the created archive directory to a safe location
because each time MythArchive is run it clears the work directory. Or
you could of cause burn the archive to a DVD.
