Video half screen at 1024x768, OK at 800x600

My backend records without any problem, but when I
playback on a frontend only the top half of the screen
is visible. The picture fills the full screen, but
cuts off the bottom half. The same recording can be
viewed at 800x600 without any problems. I've tried
running in a window, as well as tweaking the
percentages and offsets.
Gateway E-3200, PIIIx500mhz
BTTV (Haupauge WinTV-Go)
mythfrontend version: 0.18.1.20050523-1
