Also, the EIT entry on the MythTV wiki [1] states: "Sometimes, EIT data is retrieved even when "useonairguide" is not checked." Which of course begs the question: Why?! It looks like disabling the "Perform EIT Scan" option may do the trick. I'll see if that works.
