We've been talking lately about the Acer Revo RL100 in another thread but just wondering what other people have been using for cases/motherboards etc for small/nice looking STB's I have at the moment (this is my latest "creation") M350 Case with Zotac GEForce 9300-ITX motherboard with PicoPSU 150-XT power supply. 120G HDD/4G RAM (Yes it all fits /works with no problems). Only moving part is the HDD and the FAN on CPU but I can get SSD Drive and Low Profile heatsink/cooler for CPU sometime. As this has no space for any PCIe cards I'll have to add a HDPVR/USB DVB-T sometime (or just use the other D945GSEJT for a backend) M350 Case with D945GSEJT Motherboard in it. (Old write up I made - http://www.geekzone.co.nz/LennonNZ/7131). This even had a HVR-4400 in it for a while. This has no moving parts in it except the HDD (Replace with SSD). It played 1080 videos with no problems . I'm really looking for a case which looks like a STB like the RL100 but more fancy. Yes the RL100 looks nice but I don't need the Keyboard/Windows and I would replace the MiniPCIe DVB-T card with something which works under linux so adding more cost and comes with stuff I don't need. Getting Small Stuff (ITX or alike ) is quite expensive and most of the stuff I got from www.mini-box.com.au. I've ordered quite a bit from them and (except for the expensive courier charge) its gets to me within 4 days. There are some places selling them in NZ but they cannot beat the prices from AU even with the postage. Thanks Craig
