Can anyone comment (Steve?) on the status of this wrt 0.21 or 0.22?

Does anyone use it now?

Perhaps the IE issues are now overcome via IE updates?

I note that the telnet interface is limited to one connection at a time, however it may be that this overcomes that by routing all
browser commands thru that one telnet interface?

I have seen a simple on screen remote that initiated a telnet session
for each command, like:

echo 'right' |telnet $backend $port

I haven't gotten round to testing it with 0.22 yet, but as it uses the telnet port I can't see it not working.

Note that mythweb also has a limited remote control as well.

If you own an iPhone or iPod Touch there is MyMote for free in the
AppStore. There is also an all-new feature in the 0.22 version of MythWeb
which detects the user-agent of the mobile safari browser and delivers a
iPhone App-esque styled set of pages to your device.

Another option if you have more time than money is to write a small Adobe
Air app.
