0.22 odd video playing problem
|
|
Hi all, I did a fresh install of Mythbuntu 9.10 over the weekend, not to many problems. One very odd problem though, is not being able to play videos if the metadata has been populated. I think it has something to do with the storage groups. I have tried deleting the entry for the videos storage group in backend setup and adding video directories in the frontend outside of the storage group videos directory, but with no success. Videos play fine when there has been no information entered into the database for them. All my videos are stored on an external ESATA drive formatted with NTFS (mounted using ntfs-3g). Does anyone come across the same problem or have any ideas on how to fix it? Here are the logs mythbackend.log with populated DB entry (not working): 2009-11-03 17:40:31.796 ERROR: LocalFilePath unable to find local path for 'Being Human - S01E01.avi'. mythfrontend.log with populated DB entry (not working): 2009-11-03 17:40:31.536 TV: Attempting to change from None to Watching Video 2009-11-03 17:40:31.950 TV: StartPlayer(0, Watching Video, main) -- begin 2009-11-03 17:40:32.194 RingBuf(myth://Videos[at]127.0.0.1:6543//media/Mobile1TB/0-TV/Drama/Being_Human/Being Human - S01E01.avi) Warning: Peek() requested 2048 bytes, but only returning 0 2009-11-03 17:40:32.194 NVP::OpenFile(): Error, couldn't read file: myth://Videos[at]127.0.0.1:6543//media/Mobile1TB/0-TV/Drama/Being_Human/Being Human - S01E01.avi 2009-11-03 17:40:32.195 TV: StartPlayer(0, Watching Video, main) -- end error _______________________________________________ mythtvnz mailing list mythtvnz[at]lists.linuxnut.co.nz http://lists.ourshack.com/mailman/listinfo/mythtvnz Archives http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/mythtvnz/
