Out of mild curiosity, what are you going to use it for? I was under
the impression telstra was the only cable provider in these parts, and
that they were encrypted.

Hi Nick,

I am , looking at replacing my Telstraclear digital decoder DVB-C with my Mythtv box, noting that www.gbpvr.com[1] has already achieved this for NZ, but under Windows.

Note: I am only looking at receiving the same channels as I am paying for, just using my own decoder & I have *no interest* in receiving channels that I am not paying for.
