HDHomeRun Review Part 3 - still coming?

Steve,

Just wondering how part three was coming, really interested how you find the
HDHomeRun/MythTV/NZ Freeview combo. Looking at the HDHomeRun unit as it
should allow me to run a virtual MythTV backend on an exiting server.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark

Sadly I can't currently get it working with MythTV. Working through
some of the issues with the developers from Silicon Image, but
currently not there yet.

Well my bug report is here - http://cvs.mythtv.org/trac/search?q=%236527

It won't work with the default Mythbuntu builds under 9.04 as they
disabled some of the hdhomerun DVB support.

Jean-Yves builds will find the device and perform an scan correctly,
providing you select Finland as the country.

Data is being transferred between the hdhomerun and the mythbox, but the
myth backend is failing to record the stream.

For the moment that is as far as I've managed to get.
