Compile problems

Hi,

I use the mythtv from git.

If I do "make clean", then "./configure" then "make" in the mythtv
directory, the entire tree builds without a problem.

If I instead do "make -j4" on the same quad core CPU, it fails to
build saying there are things missing at link stage.

Has anyone else seen similar problems?

Kind Regards

James

Re: Compile problems [In reply to]

I quite regularly compile with -j9 on my I7 quad-core box. You should
maybe use make distclean instead of make clean.

Also, actual error messages are a loot easier to debug than nebulous
statements like "it fails" :)
