Proper procedure, and very much appreciated. It's good to have our bug
database keep "Trac" of all of our bug reports and feature patches.
The github requests aren't archived in our mailing list archives, aren't
searchable, and ... Therefore, for requests that come only through
github, we lose a lot of history--which is annoying to someone like me,
who spends a lot of time digging through history trying to figure out
what happened when.
