well i posted a patch in #7674 which added some very basic stuff to
support coverart
but they all suffer from the same missing feature - streaming of content
from a remote storagegroup
mr dean suggested using mythxml. i will have a look at that after i sort
out some hardware adminstrivia

so i would say that that is next

any by the way - my coverart patch (for the display part at least) means
that you don't need a data/video_covers symbolic link

Well, I didn't go so far as to suggest MythXML. I was really trying to
suggest asking Chris Petersen or Rob Smith what approach they would
prefer for the streaming--either mythproto-based socket code,
MythXML-based, or the (mentioned, but still not available) JSON-based
approach that David Blain said he was working on
