Posted here for comment before creating a ticket ...
.22-fixes until a week or so back created iso's that could be played with
mplayer.
mplayer now chokes:
Too many video packets in the buffer: (4096 in 8269490 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.
A: 7.8 V: 2.7 A-V: 5.112 ct: 0.310 395/395 11% 1% 3.4% 9 0
BUT both vlc and a real DVD player work just fine.
VLC is fine as a work around, but is this important?
