Or, if you want a break from debugging/patching, you can also take a look at the feature requests on the wiki ( http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Feature_Wishlist and http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Feature_Wishlist_(Plugin_Addons) and http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Feature_Wishlist_(New_Plugins) ). If you start uploading patches that fix the bugs that we haven't had time to diagnose/fix, we'll definitely get to know you fast (and soon enough, we may start asking you to work on some bugs for us :).
