I want to see the requests coming into the > backend from the frontend as well as the StorageGroup logs when it did the > directory scan. I see this periodically. Mabye 1 in 3 times. It has been a while since I looked at it. I threw VERBOSE statements all over the scan code and could not for the life of me firgure out why. I think at the time I suspected a QT issue. Mythvideo will always add the files (with umlaut etc chars) on first try after a startup. A few scans later (*if it does not segfault) it will remove the files. Next scan it will readd. There was a thread on this previously : http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/dev/392211 I will try to debug again with new effort again as no one else seemed able to reproduce it at time. * Can't search trac for the ticket num at moment. BT is at http://www.skynet.ie/~shabba/scanning_mv_gdb.txt Might thet be related? D.
