You'll need to disable (at least long enough to run mythfrontend one
time) PulseAudio and start mythfrontend.

Only MythVideo can upgrade the MythVideo portion of the database
schema. Therefore, you have to run the MythVideo initialization code
(which is run every time you start mythfrontend) at least one time.
mythbackend and mythtv-setup only upgrade the TV portion of the database
schema.

If the proper version of PulseAudio libraries are found on your system,
Myth is compiled with support for disabling PulseAudio. If the
libraries aren't found, it's not.

On Fedora 11, you have to install the pulseaudio-libs-devel before the
the configure script with auto enable it. The configure script is
confusing however, because the help shows --enable-alsa, jack, oss, etc.
So you would think the help would mention pulse.
