In the ticket description, there's --version output saying that the
crashing MythTV is running SVN trunk /not/ 0.21-fixes SVN. The change
has only been reverted in 0.21-fixes.

The comment from tim doesn't mention whether he's using 0.21-fixes or
trunk, so it's only reasonable to assume he's using trunk (and thus
reporting the issue against a trunk ticket was appropriate).

Ah, yes. Sorry, I _was_ missing something. I'll test the fixes branch
tonight, and let you know how I get on.

I've tried the release-0-21-fixes branch and it seems rock solid so far; about
10 minutes of determined channel hopping[1] without a crash, which is great.

[1] I do it with the sound turned down and reading a book; I'm not *that* sad :-)
