Hi group i have problem with VBI/Pal teletext in mythtv Hardware : geniatech DVB-S (cx88) looks like : cx88[0]: subsystem: 14f1:0084, board: Geniatech DVB-S [card=52,autodetected] cx88[0]: TV tuner type 4, Radio tuner type -1 ... cx88[0]/0: registered device video3 [v4l2] cx88[0]/0: registered device vbi3 ... cx88/2: cx2388x dvb driver version 0.0.6 loaded cx88/2: registering cx8802 driver, type: dvb access: shared cx88[0]/2: subsystem: 14f1:0084, board: Geniatech DVB-S [card=52] cx88[0]/2: cx2388x based DVB/ATSC card and KNC One TV Station DVR saa7134[0]: subsystem: 1894:a006, board: KNC One TV-Station DVR [card=24,autodetected] .... tuner 0-0060: type set to 38 (Philips PAL/SECAM multi (FM1216ME MK3)) saa6752hs 0-0020: saa6752hs: chip found @ 0x40 saa7134[0]: registered device video1 [v4l2] saa7134[0]: registered device vbi1 saa7134[0]: registered device radio1 saa7134 ALSA driver for DMA sound loaded saa7134[0]/alsa: saa7134[0] at 0xfdeffc00 irq 17 registered as card 1 saa7134[0]: registered device video0 [mpeg] so it looks rather ok. I can watch, record, switch between channels, inputs, etc but when I try menu -> toggle teletext menu - see "P100 Page not available" on every channel - source independent. all analog channels have very good signal - when I use tvtime for watching analog tv - and alevt for teletext it works without problems (but alevt needs patch for using it with saa7134 - without this patch it can't decode vbi data - look at this patch here : http://marc.info/?l=linux-video&m=104135131408201&w=2), cat /dev/vbi1 shows data stream.. mythtv-setup has vbi inputs properly configured (for saa7134 /dev/vbi1, PAL-Teletext) fuser /dev/vbi1 while watching analog shows /dev/vbi1 is used by mythbackend. Logs doesn't show any VBI problem Maybe this is sth. wrong with decoding (v4l2 or saa7134 related?) or maybe I miss something - how i can debug this ?
