This actually works for me on my FX5200 using XvMC on an AthlonXP
1600. Without this patch I get the same symptoms and with it I'm able
to smoothly playback even 1080i with Bob enabled. I get a little
skipping when the Info/position OSD is up, but thats not major.
Anyway, I've been running the patch in my bedroom for a few months now
with no issues, though I don't watch much TV there (couple shows a
week maybe).
