About master_iconmap and European channels

Hi
I am trying to update the master_iconmap.xml so it finds the logo's
from the Dutch television channels. I wondered however if there is a
rule on handling whitespaces in a callsign. When I scan for channels
on dvb-c over here, the callsigns are populated with names with
whitespaces in it, for example BBC1 is BBC 1 over here.
Now, is there a possibility to have these names with whitespaces as
callsign or do I have to convert them to "real world callsigns". When
I leave the whitespace build_map.pl will not parse the file OK.
Any thoughts?
