Regarding Picture Quality Issue in Mythtv....

Hi Friends...
When I watch tv through cable on TV Screen.....I get lots of jittr and
quality is not that good...How can I fix this problem.Rer there any setting
to fix this ...

Hi all

I asked myself the same thing.

I am using knoppmyth R5A26 with dvb-s card.

Picture quality is no were near the quality I get when watching the same
channels with the Nvidia Codec used with windows XP and Mytheater.

VGA card is nvidia 5200 connected to analog VGA monitor.

The best result I can get so far is with kernel deinterlacing and XvMC
enabled.

Any suggestions are welcome

Setting the screen refresh rate to be a multiple of the video rate is
usually the problem. This is a users list question though
