developer docs

I've put a mirror of the doxygen documentation up at http://cuymedia.net

Cuy is the Peruvian name of the Guinea Pig.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuy
Which I thought was appropriate. :)

There isn't a lot of documentation yet. But it's enough to be useful
for me once in a while. Plus it makes a nice code browser.

Since we don't have a document describing the overall architecture
yet I've just pointed to to the annotated class names list. The ones
with a little summary on the right are generally the ones with some
documentation.

I would love it if someone volunteered to document some subsystem or
volunteered to write the overall architecture document. I can help
you get it into doxygen format if it's not clear.

The doxygen docs are here:
http://www.stack.nl/~dimitri/doxygen/

To generate the doxygen docs from MythTV go into the docs
subdirectory and type "make devdocs". It will generate the
same tree that I've put up on cuymedia.net, but with any
additional documentation you have added. They will be in
docs/doxygen-dev-docs, and will be accessible in a browser
as file:///mythtv-src-location/docs/doxygen-dev-docs/

I'm short on time, but I would be interested in documenting the audio
layer. I might be able to do some stuff on Mythmusic as well.

I will look over what you have done so far. I think this is *extremely*
useful though. Congrats

I've been reading through a lot of the job queue stuff lately, what
would be a good way of documenting this that works for you?

Cool.

At the moment the plugins are not in the doxygen make script,
but I can write up a doxygen config file for em.

Glad you think so. I don't need the docs myself for the parts I
documented, but I tried to make something that would have been useful
when I started working with those classes/functions. I don't know much
about how the audio works in MythTV now, so I'm really looking forward
to see what you write up.

The best way would be to write doxygen documentation.
You can create group (module) documentation, for a
collection of classes say. This might be a good place to
describe a concept such as the job queue, but it might
also work as class documentation if there is one class
that orchestrates the whole process.

But if doxygen looks like too much to learn, or you
just have problems creating a plan of attack for the
job queue in particular, I could take a plain text file
describing the job queue and doxygenify it.
