Log Message:
Reworked the fast-forward/rewind feature to support smoother motion
and more accurate timing. There are still a few minor issues that
will be worked out soon.

Colin Guthrie's patch (as part of ongoing work) to rationalize metadata
reading and implement sensible writing.

This is quite a large patch, and I have not been through every line of it. I
have tested it fairly thoroughly though, and it presents no problems here.

mythweb should now auto-configure video_url stuff to send myth:// url's to
windows clients. People will need to comment-out their definition of
video_url in conf.php if they want auto-detect to kick in.

initial commit for new translation scheme. English.php file following shortly
that will actually make this stuff work.

new scheme deals away with the old _LANG_... constants, and uses a gettext-like
function t() to translate strings listed in a hash (defined in the language files.
The transition will be gradual over the next few days, and unfortunately will
require rewriting the translations. But this will let us do some much nicer
translations (full sentences, rather than broken bits of sentences).

New English.php that has a handful of phrases for the new translation engine, and
updated theme files for those translations. Format is not yet set in stone, so
please don't start adding new keywords or updating other languages until I finalize
things.

Also rename some of the old show-category regex constants (even though they'll
all just go away shortly).

Rework how translation parameters work. Parameters are now passed as $1, $2, etc. so
that they can be rearranged in a translated string, according to whatever subj/obj
linguistic rules might be different than English.
Couple of other minor adjustments.
Anyway, I hope that this is the final format for how translations will work. Now
comes the tedious job of updating all of the strings.

Support for italics and underlines via the <italic> and <underline> elements.
Example font def:

<font name="title" base="basefont" face="Arial Black">

<underline>yes</underline>
<size:big>24</size:big>
<size:small>18</size:small>
<shadow>3,3</shadow>
</font>

Allow the bold, underline and italic attributes to be turned on in derrived fonts by using "no" instead of "yes". Previously if the base font had bold turned on there was no way for a derrived font to turn it back off.

Allow the up/down arrows in the managedtree to be offset via a location attribute.

This change breaks binary compatibility, so you'll need to rebuild the world.
