How to port Apache::File from mp1 to mp2

i dont want to use Apache2::Compat
mp 1 code
my $fh = Apache::File->new($self->{TicketSecret}) || return;
$self->{SECRET_KEY} = <$fh>;
i need to convert it into mp2
