Fwd: [rt.cpan.org #44703] Wrong links in documentation

Not quite sure how to resolve this and keep the links on perl.apache.org working

Subject: [rt.cpan.org #44703] Wrong links in documentation
To:

Tue Mar 31 11:35:05 2009: Request 44703 was acted upon.
Transaction: Ticket created by SREZIC
      Queue: mod_perl
    Subject: Wrong links in documentation
  Broken in: 2.0.4
   Severity: (no value)
      Owner: Nobody
 Requestors: SREZIC [at] cpan
     Status: new
 Ticket <URL: https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=44703 >

It seems that links in all mod_perl2-related Pod pages are broken. It is
visible in Pod viewers which can handle links, e.g. tkpod or in
search.cpan.org's documentation pages (e.g.
http://search.cpan.org/~gozer/mod_perl-2.0.4/docs/api/Apache2/Const.pod).

Links are in the form
L<Apache2::Access|docs::2.0::api::Apache2::Access>. To correct this, the
links should simply be in the form L<Apache2::Access>.

Regards,
  Slaven

I posted to docs-dev about this, and got no response.

I don't see any easy way to resolve this either.

The logical thing to do would seem to be to create the POD so it
displays correctly on CPAN, then alter our doc building tool workflow
so that it updates the links for perl.apache.org. Or distill both. I
don't know - it seems like broken links on CPAN docs is the defacto
standard. I'd rather see the website maintain consistency.
