mod_perl as DSO.

There is known issue with mod_perl compiled as module with apache ( well,
it doesen't work ), but why?
And why there is no mention in mod_perl documentation about this issue?
If DSO is broken, why can't I find any info about it?

Re: mod_perl as DSO. [In reply to]

I think rather DSO sometimes works, but when
and where is still a mystery to me.

DSO has been marked as *EXPERIMENTAL* in the
modperl docs for a long time. I don't know
if this changed, but outside of that, I don't
know where else the myriad of problems that
occur are documented.

at least on the common platforms it should work reasonably well
these days. I use it a lot on FreeBSD.
